Committee and Commission Applications

Applications for Committees and Commissions are accepted by the Office of the City Clerk. 

Qualified Members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. The information submitted on the application is a public document and may be released upon request. The merits of an appointment to a committee or commission may be discussed during a public forum.

Confirmed Commissioners will be notified of their appointment by the City Clerk's Office. 

Commissioners must comply with Bethel Municipal 2.05 Responsibilities of City Council Members, Municipal Officers, Appointed Officials and Employees-Conflicts of Interest.

Terms for Committee and Commission Members are three years expiring on December 31 unless otherwise provided by notice.
